The object architecture of U2 Web DE allows the interface between the web technology and the database to revolve around the business logic rather than the database structure. An organisations website is able to interact with Stratum via a REST service and XML messages. This simple procedure allows a business process e.g. member amend to be called and amended quickly and simply via XML. In order to assist your web developer we include a help service that details which pieces of business logic are available to be called and what parameters are required in order to generate the desired actions. To ensure that all actions are encrypted a Secure Sockets Layer is utilised ensuring that requests and responses take place within an https environment.
