APT Celebrate our 20th Birthday!

On 10th May 2008 APT celebrated our  20th birthday.  Starting from a base of two people working in London APT has grown into an international group employing fifty people and specialising in the provision of software and services to the Not for Profit sector.

Originally specialising in training, APT moved into the membership sector with our first customer, the National Union of Teachers, in 1994 and we are proud to be able to say that the NUT remain as a customer today.

By the late 1990s membership was the primary focus of APT and in 2002 we launched our Spectrum range of specialist administration services for the Not for Profit Sector.

2003 saw the first sale of Stratum in Australia with the implementation at the New South Wales Teacher's Federation.

In 2007 we established our Australian operation as a subsidiary company and acquired the AIMS and Atwone Content Management Systems.  These enhanced our range of software for the sector both in the UK and Australia.

Also in 2007 we were appointed as the UK Master Distributor for the U2 product set by IBM.  This represents a milestone in a long relationship between APT and IBM over many years.
